MW Canada Participates in Business Water Quality Program
Partnering with the Ontario Centre for Environmental Technology Advancement, Environment Canada, and the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, we are taking measures to ensure our environmental responsibilities are being met.
An engineering consulting firm working with the Business Water Quality Program (BWQP) recently assessed our plant and made some recommendations that we have since implemented. A high priority suggestion that MW Canada took action on was the replacement of an underground storage tank. Construction has now been completed on an above ground system. This has reduced the risk of impact on water quality and furthers our proactive role, helping us pre-emt future environmental regulations.
