Metallized Fabrics - Winter/Spring 2009

We are now pleased to offer metallized polyester fabrics. A vacuum process permanently applies a thin layer of aluminum to our fabrics
In warm weather metallized fabrics reduce solar heat gain, and in cold weather they act as an insulator.

Matrix Inc., an independent testing agency in Mesa, Arizona provided us with data on our metallized fabrics. Compared to regular
roller shade, our metallized shade fabrics reduce solar transmittance by 69%, increase solar reflectance by 45%, and reduce ultra-violet
transmittance by 25%. Adding a laminate along with metallization can create further benefits.

Please ask us for more information on this new product.
